inwebco has made extensive adjustments to the caching for the extended eZ Platform / Page Builder solution.
Many different factors influence the cache, which makes it a special challenge to keep the cache always up-to-date and to keep possible performance losses as low as possible.
In addition, it is our claim to display changed information immediately, regardless of the source.
A big part of the caching system created by inwebco are Edge Side Includes (ESI), which update the cache for defined areas within a webpage in case of a change, without having to empty the whole cache.
